As we come to the end of another year we need to give some thought to running a Child Protection Workshop within the club. It will be a requirement next year that everybody that has anything to do with children will have to have completed this course.
I would suggest running a course within the next month and another one in early 2016 if necessary. The course can cater for 15 persons max at a time and takes three hours to complete. Our children's officer wants everybody to complete this course as soon as possible in order to comply with upcoming legal requirements. He is happy with the vetting within the club and just wants to get the few outstanding forms back.
Can we have a think about it and get back to me. We have to do this so we're as well to do it ASAP.
