St. John's U-12 teams bow out in semi-finals

St. John's U-12 teams bow out in semi-finals

Both club U-12 teams involvement in the league ended at the semi-final stage. This is an achievement in itself having come through against quality opposition. Both teams and management deserve every praise for their commitment and skills shown throughout the league campaign.

The U-12 team Div 4 were averaging 15 points per game (no mean achievement) and it was ironic they again scored 0-15 last evening. It is a great starting position to build from and no doubt in the shorter term these bunch of young players will be bringing great honour to the club. They have all given us great enjoyment over the last number of months and enthralled us all with their exploits on the field of play.

Has to be said it was a successful league overall.

We done to both teams and management Brian Flynn & Justin McGoldrick U-12 Div 1 and Gerry Quinn & Michael Hegarty Div 4.

The Club would like to wish Shamrock Gaels & St. Molaise Gales the very best of luck in their respective finals.
