Senior team draw,
Intermediate team ship heavy loss
Results from the (Saturday) weekend seen our Senior
team draw with Bunninadden in Stenson Park.
It was a competitive outing and despite the slippery underfoot conditions,
the team played well to share the spoils. St. John’s second team suffered a heavy defeat to
Calry/St. Joseph’s on Sunday afternoon also
in Stenson Park. With the game played in
wet drizzly and heavy underfoot conditions throughout which left attractive
football at a premium. Calry/St. Joseph’s made the better use of chances that
came their way. Calry/St.Joseph’s are
already many people’s favourites to capture this year’s Intermediate title.
Defensive lapses with the concession of 7 goals proved too much for the battling
St. John’s side.
