Congratulations to St. John’s
club man Brendan Tierney Marketing & Events Manager of the popular 5th
on Teeling live music venue on receiving the Irish Music Rights Organisation
(IMRO) Awards in Dublin on Tuesday evening last.
The 5th on Teeling venue was nominated for the top accolade recognising Ireland’s favourite music venue, going head
to head with the likes of Whelan’s & Rosin Dubh, the 3 Arena in Dublin.
“I’m delighted and proud of the venue although
I am still a bit shocked to have accepted the award, " said Brendan.
Brendan has played with the St.
John’s G.A.A. Club for many years and was a member of the St. John’s team that
won the Junior Championships in 2013.
